Peter and Bella - the wheat-head people

 We made two new members for our class. They are made from wheat and sphagnum moss inside old stockings. Their names are Peter and Bella. Bella has pink eye-shadow and Peter has blue.


 We watered them every day and watched their hair grow. ....

 Peter has three bristly green hairs on his forehead!

 Bella's hair is growing faster than Peter's.

We put Peter into a smaller glass because his moss wasn't wet enough.

 Now he's catching up. 
 Bella has a beard! They are the roots of the wheat grains.


We had to put holes in the stockings because Bella was getting ingrown hair!

    I loved meeting Bella and Peter. You are getting clever at asking them questions. What funny voices they have ! Pippa

    When I looked at the photos I laughed. Peter and Bella look so funny. I liked seeing their hair grow.
