Room 6 - Quick Playdough recipe. 

In a bowl mix...

1.  2 cups plain flour

2.  2 tsp cream of tartar

3. 2 tbsp oil

4. 1/2 cup salt

5. colouring (glitter optional)

With an adults help......

Stir in QUICKLY  2 cups of boiling water.  Mix well and knead until smooth.

Draw a mixed-up chameleon of your own using lots of different animals and colours.  Give it a name.

Or make a new recipe or mixture of things you are allowed to use from your kitchen.  Here are my ANZAC biscuits.

Here is a list of shapes you can find and count in your house. 

Have a go at counting how many you have.

Start with your doors and windows.... what shape are these? How many are in your house?

Olympic Gold !!

We have had lots of discussions about the Olympics over the last few weeks and what it would be like to be there and compete in the games.  

Matua Pete brought his medals in to show us.  We all enjoyed wearing them.

We have had a wonderful start to Term 3 jumping straight back into routines and beginning to practice our operetta item already!

Last week we wrote about rain and how much we either loved or didn't love splashing in puddles.  To make our writing interesting we added sound words and describing words to grab the reader's attention.
