Connecting with our school and classroom. Turangawaewae ~ Our place to stand.

In week three we explored around the school Redwood tree.

We guessed how old it might be and how we could find out.  We tried to look high into the branches to spot the bird living at the top !

Making the most of Room 6 kitchen.

This week we read "The Biggest Cake In The World" By Joy Cowley.

"Mrs Delicious got a truck full of flour for the biggest cake in the world".

We did not end up making the biggest cake in the world but it was lots of fun and learning making a chocolate cake in our classroom kitchen on Friday.
