Butterfly

Our chrysalis hatched and we had our first butterfly.



We drew butterflies in the Orchard in Kidpix. We are learning to use the drawing tools and to colour in with the bucket. Here are some of our beautiful pictures.

Baby Chicks

Today we visited Room 13. They have ten baby chicks that have hatched out of eggs. They are so cute!

We wrote a story together on the Mimio board about the chicks.

Chrysalis

This movie shows the caterpillar's skin splitting and the chrysalis is underneath!
We have two chrysalis' in Room 5 now and another caterpillar curled up in a J ready to change.


And we have lots of very tiny hungry caterpillars hatching. We hope there are enough leaves for them to grow big.

Caterpillars

We have a swan plant in Room 5 with one big fat caterpillar, one caterpillar curled up in a J ready to change into a chrysalis and one chrysalis. 

There are also lots of very tiny caterpillars hatching out. We hope there will be enough leaves to feed them all!
