Swan plants
We are busy here drawing a picture of the teeny weeny caterpillar that lives on our new swan plant. Miss Lee said the caterpillar will grow and grow until it is really big. We have all being learning about the life cycle of a Monarch butterfly. We know that the caterpillar will turn into a butterfly one day.

Wow I think metamorphosis is the big word for what is happening in your classroom and there is a song about it too. Mrs Nagels or I must have a file of it somewhere. Ask me about it. Poppa
